We have assessed our data processing obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Given our minimal data footprint — described in full below — we operate with a privacy-first approach, relying on established third-party processors who each maintain their own legal frameworks and compliance obligations.
What data we collect
Trades On does not operate a contact form, mailing list, newsletter, or account registration system. We do not directly collect or store personal data from visitors to this website.
The only data-related activity on this site is anonymised website analytics, described in the cookies section below.
How to contact us
We provide two contact channels. Both are operated by third-party platforms under their own legal frameworks — no contact data is processed or stored by Trades On directly.
- Email — clicking our email link opens your own email client. Any message you send is processed by your email provider and ours. We do not operate a server-side contact form.
- WhatsApp — operated by Meta Platforms Inc., subject to Meta's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Trades On has no access to Meta's infrastructure or data.
Payments & subscriptions
All payments and subscription billing are handled exclusively by Stripe. Trades On does not collect, process, or store any payment data, card details, or banking information.
Stripe acts as an independent data controller for all financial data and operates under its own ICO registration, PCI-DSS compliance framework, and privacy obligations. By subscribing, you enter into a direct relationship with Stripe governed by their terms.
For information on how Stripe handles your data, please refer to the Stripe Privacy Notice.
Cookies
This website uses a limited number of cookies. We do not use advertising, tracking, retargeting, or social media cookies.
- Strictly necessary cookies — essential for basic website functionality. No consent is required for these under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
- Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site in aggregate. This collects anonymised data such as pages visited, session duration, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored.
By continuing to use this site you consent to analytics cookies being set. You can opt out at any time by adjusting your browser settings or installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
The following third-party services are used on this website. Each operates independently under its own legal framework, privacy policy, and compliance obligations. Trades On is not responsible for how these services handle data.
Google Analytics
Anonymised website analytics operated by Google LLC. Google processes data under a Data Processing Agreement with standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the UK. Full details at policies.google.com/privacy.
WhatsApp (Meta Platforms)
Contact channel operated by Meta Platforms Inc. Any communication via WhatsApp is subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy. Trades On has no access to Meta's infrastructure. Full details at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Stripe
Payment and subscription processing. Stripe is an independent data controller for all payment data, operating under its own ICO registration and PCI-DSS compliance. Trades On never sees or stores payment information. Full details at stripe.com/privacy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of any personal data we hold about you, as well as the right to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.
Given that Trades On does not directly collect or store personal data, most of these rights will apply to the third-party processors listed above. Please refer to their respective policies for the appropriate contact points.
For any questions, contact us at hello@tradeson.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
